Last week was an excellent week for student fun at Lexis Noosa! For our students, it’s important to unwind during a week of English learning, and our activity programme is the best way to do so. Every week, we do activities together on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to showcase the best of what life in Noosa is like. Our activities range from arts and crafts to watersports and from karaoke to yoga, with a whole load of Aussie culture thrown in there too. Here’s a glimpse of what activities we got up to last week:
Table Tennis Tournament + Pizza
On Wednesday, we played a Table Tennis Tournament and had some pizza for lunch. After several rounds, Alois took out the win!!
Henna Workshop
On Thursday we did a Henna Workshop! Henna originates from the Lawsonia Inermis plant, a shrub native to hot regions of North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Students used the henna to draw flowers, animals, and intricate designs on their hands, arms, and legs.
End of Term BBQ Party!
On Friday we held our End of Term BBQ Party! Every 10 weeks, we put on a sausage sizzle to thank our students, teachers, and staff, and to recognise everyone’s hard work during the term.
