During February and March 2023, Sydney celebrated World Pride with a dazzling array of major and local events.

At Lexis Manly, students took the opportunity to learn about the different Carnavale festivals around the world and enjoyed some fun activities.

For one week, teachers taught English class lessons on the theme and scheduled mask making and samba lessons.

The week culminated in a campus dance – the main event of Lexis Manly Student Carnavale 2023!

The original plan was to take the dance to the beach and around the streets of Manly but the weather didn’t cooperate.

That didn’t stop our students or our teachers. No way! The dance went ahead in the Student Lounge and as you can see from the videos and photographs, everyone had a great time.

Best wishes from Sydney!
