Saying Goodbye to Our Graduating Students!
Congratulations to our 19 fantastic students on your remarkable achievement of graduating from your courses here at Lexis Brisbane! Graduation day is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to personal growth and academic excellence.
Our amazing graduates from last week were Hasan, Javier, Ana del Mar, Javier, Frederico, Eiji, Montaken, Ana, Vinicius, Alicia, Taiga, Leonie, Shogo, Ayat, Melanie, Kuan-Ling, Serim, Monako, and Pau. A big congratulations to all of these superstars!
Our graduates have embarked on a courageous path, leaving their homes and familiar surroundings to pursue their dreams of education and personal growth in a foreign land. They faced countless challenges, both academically and culturally, but they persevered, demonstrating resilience and determination that we deeply admire. Throughout their time at Lexis Brisbane, these exceptional individuals have not only excelled in their studies but have also enriched our community through their diverse perspectives, cultural exchange, and cross-cultural friendships. They have become global citizens, bridging the gaps between nations and fostering mutual understanding. As staff members, we have been privileged to witness their growth, witness their triumphs, and offer guidance and support along the way. We have seen them overcome language barriers, embrace new experiences, and emerge as confident, well-rounded individuals ready to make a positive impact on the world.
Amidst all the excitement of graduation day, I was able to have a chat with Ana del Mar, one of this week’s IELTS graduates from Spain. I asked her about her experience at Lexis Brisbane, her time in Brisbane and how this has impacted her. Ana has been living in West End (which she loves), and has been so for a year. She loves Brisbane and would ideally like to live here. After graduating from Lexis, Ana told me that she will be taking a course in hospitality at Tafe here in Brisbane. She told me that studying her IELTS course here at Lexis has given her the opportunity to study in English elsewhere, like Tafe. This has paved the way for Ana to accomplish her goals. In terms of her experience here at Lexis Brisbane, Ana told me that on her first day, she immediately felt welcome. She told me that our campus managers, Trent and Rachel, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making her already feel at home. Ana said that during her time here, she felt as though she could lean on her teachers and peers for support when she needed it. Studying at Lexis also gave her the opportunity to make lifelong friends which she said was one of the best parts of her entire experience. Gaining an English qualification has changed Ana’s life, presenting unlimited opportunities and a chance to make big things happen. We are always so thrilled to have students share their positive experiences and feedback as it truly reminds us of how important and worthwhile our work here at Lexis Brisbane is.
To all of our graduates, as you embark on the next chapter of your lives, remember that this graduation is just the beginning. Armed with your newfound language skills, cultural understanding, and the invaluable experiences you have gained, you are now equipped to navigate a world without boundaries. Embrace the opportunities that lie ahead, pursue your dreams with passion, and continue to strive for excellence. Anything is possible. As you reflect upon your journey, remember the countless hours you dedicated to developing your understanding of English, the cultural immersion that broadened your perspectives, and the friendships that transcended borders. Throughout their time at our school, we have witnessed these incredible individuals transform from tentative learners to confident communicators, ready to take on the world. They have embraced the challenges with resilience, curiosity, and an unwavering determination to succeed. These accomplishments have not only enriched their own lives but have also inspired everybody.
