On Sunday students embarked on an amazing full day trip to Nimbin and Nightcap National Park.

Nimbin is a famous Aussie hippie town, with eclectic shops and a vibrant arts and alternative health scene.

Nightcap National Park contains World Heritage-listed rainforests and an abundance of wildlife including rare, vulnerable and threatened species.

We spotted a wild koala! Koalas are unfortunately endangered in NSW, so it is very special to see one in the wild.
