On Sunday students embarked on a full day trip to Springbrook National Park, a World Heritage listed area containing distinct geology, rainforests, rare wildlife and unique fauna.
Springbrook National Park is huge and hosts spectacular panoramic views. It is split in four primary eco-areas; Springbrook Plateau, Mount Cougal, Natural Bridge and Numinbah.
There’s a plethora of wildlife including hundreds of bird, frog and reptile species, plus many mammals including pademelons small rainforest wallabies.
After sunset Natural Bridge is illuminated by amazing bioluminescence displays from the glow-worm colonies.
