Today we farewell the lovely Pit and Mariah.
Pit has been with us on-and-off for over 2 years!! She began in Pre-Intermediate and has spent many hours in the Intermediate and Upper Intermediate classrooms, as well as doing IELTS and FCE. She has had many teachers: Adrienne, Julia, Kristy, Michelle, Mel, Claudia, Elizabeth and Paul – wow! Pit is well-known for her smile and kindness, and last week we did a blog on her being a Happy Student! 🐬, where she told us that being at Lexis Byron was like being at home 💖. Over this time, Pit has gained more confidence in speaking and listening in English, and has improved her understanding of grammar a lot. Her vocabulary is very good, too! She loves a laugh, and jokes with people – all in English. We love her and will miss her so much.
Mariah came to us from Noosa with her son Gabriel and we have really enjoyed her smiley presence, as well as her generosity of spirit and kindness. Mariah started in Intermediate and graduated in Upper Intermediate with Elizabeth and Kristy. We wish her all the very best for staying in Australia with her family in the Gold Coast and studying further there
