It’s Adrienne’s birthday this week and Helena, one of her lovely Pre-Intermediate students, made this gorgeous present for her.
The jar is filled with delicious chocolate cornflake sweet treats and decorated with the image of and words from Frida Kahlo. Adrienne was so delighted with the present and said that it was perfect as Frida is actually her favourite artist.
Helena even made Adrienne’s treats gluten-free because she knows she’s intolerant and then made extra treats to share with the class. You can see how talented Helena is from the pictures below (and I’ve also included a Frida Kahlo self-portrait) so you can admire the likeness.
