Whale season approaching!

Did you know that you can see humpback whales from the sands of Scarborough Beach?

This photo was taken from Scarborough Beach last October. The main whale migration season starts from around September, and keen whale watchers will be waiting on the beaches each morning for a sight of these spectacular mammals.

For those who just can’t get enough of whale watching, GV Perth Beach can arrange whale watching tours leaving from Hillary’s Boat Harbour, just north of the school. Speak to Neil to arrange a student discount!

Scarborough Beach is one of the best vantage points in Australia to spot whales as they migrate up and down the West Coast. If you get a good photo, make sure you bring it in for the blog!!
