For this afternoon’s activity, a bunch of excited students tested their skills in a Lexis Noosa ping-pong tournament!
Our ping-pong table at the Noosa campus has become very popular since its arrival at the start of the year! Our students love to play on their breaks and after school, making it a much-loved activity at our campus. So, we thought that it was only fair to organize a table tennis tournament for the students to put their talents to the test.
We had 12 participants in total and a whole lot of spectators, enjoying the excitement of watching their friends compete. The tournament was a round-robin styled competition, meaning that for each game, the winner would proceed to the next round and the losing student would unfortunately be knocked out of the competition.
The matches were intense but fun, with lots of laughter and friendly banter exchanged between players. There were some incredible shots made, and some lucky ones too. Their friends were great spectators that cheered and encouraged each other on. This created a fun and exciting atmosphere for our players. Overall, it was a lot of fun for both the players and spectators.
There were 3 awesome prizes for the top 3 finalists. The prizes included a $79 Learn to Surf Voucher, a Noosa beach towel with a pack of Tim Tams and a Noosa bottle opener keyring with a pack of Tim Tams too!
In the end, we crowned the winning student to Gabriel and he chose to take the Learn To Surf voucher home. Congratulations Gabriel!
Coming in 2nd place, was Pedro and he chose the towel and Tim Tams and in 3rd place was Raul who took the bottle opener.
Congratulations to everyone that played and especially to these three winners!
It was a great way to spend the afternoon engaging in some friendly competition!
