My partner and myself are the current au pairs, however we will be leaving at the end of March and would love someone to take over from us. The family is fantastic with one energetic 2yr old boy. He has been around Spanish speaking au pairs since he was 4 months old and understands everything we say and even has a few Spanish words! He is slightly crazy (good crazy, not bad crazy!) he loves roaming around the deck and the property and plays well by himself. He is pretty quirky and constantly makes us laugh with his antics. He loves collecting eggs, playing in the spa, reading books and tipping things from one container to another. We have loved our time working with these guys and we know we will always be a part of each others family! Working with them has been like working with family and we are very sad to be leaving. It has been like working with our sister and brother! The role is perfect for travelers looking to work within Byron Bay and have free accommodation. We work 20 hours a week between us. This is flexible as you can fit these hours in around your job. Accommodation is included in a retro caravan. The caravan has one small double and one single bed, fully operational kitchen with cooker/oven/microwave along with a shower and toilet. A car is essential if you are to stay here. VOLUNTEERS FOR BLUESFEST
Woofers required for the week prior to and during Blues festival (5th-18th April), to help with food preparation in the week before the festival and to work at the festival itself (front of house customer service). Will include a ticket to Bluesfest and will require 25 hours of work during the festival (leaving plenty of time to enjoy some music!) plus 30 hours the week prior for food preparation. Experience with food preparation would be desirable, plus a good grasp of english for counter service. Accommodation is provided in Burringbar in converted shipping container, with queen bed, fridge and camp stove, with access to shower & toilet in nearby shed.
