English and Surfing student, Nicolas Brengard saw an elderly lady caught in a rip last week so he paddled over and helped her to safety. The lady was extremely grateful for Nicolas’ quick actions and later gave him a gift to show her appreciation.
Just another example of how important it is to swim between the flags. Even when the surf looks small, there can still be dangerous rips and currents.
