To celebrate the Spring Equinox on September 23, the day of equal day and night, we held a Circle and Candle Making activity.
The circle was beautifully set up with an altar, candles, fresh foliage, oracle cards and the aroma of incense.
Our teacher Marie led the circle, she guided students through a meditation and then discussed the energy of the Spring Equinox.
As the candle wax melted, students painted their candle jars with symbols of spring and new beginnings.
As we poured our candle wax, we thought of our intentions for springtime. Finally, Marie closed the circle with a meditation.
