Despite it being a windy Friday, we had a great turn out of students for our potluck picnic in front of Main Beach.
A potluck is a centuries-old tradition of gathering for a meal that has been prepared collectively.

Ideally each guest brings a food item large enough to be shared by everyone. If you’ve ever been to a potluck lunch or dinner, then you know how much fun they can be.
We had some very generous students who came prepared with hot chips and dips, cheesecake, cupcakes, crackers, fresh bread, spreads, blueberries, olives, white wine and rose to share.

We also shared packets of chips, nuts, soft drink and orange juice.

Towards the end of our feast, the sun started to really shine through the clouds.

Picnicking was a lovely way to relax, socialize, eat, drink, and enjoy our Friday afternoon together. Bring on the next one!
