Byron Bay – Farmers Market – 10 December 20

We’ve started a Conversation Class once a week, where the whole school gets together to talk with each other.  It’s so that students from different levels can chat to higher levels, including the teachers.

This week Mel took everyone to the Farmer’s Market.  They did a Scavenger Hunt where there was a list of items to find in the market:

avocado, capsicum, eggplant, cauliflower, ginger, blueberries, sweet potato, coriander, kale, garlic, passionfruit, macadamia nuts, muffin, smoothie, basil.

Mel’s students found them all!  They went in pairs and had to talk with the local stallholders.

Lots of people bought yummy sweet muffins and cakes, and tried icy-block made from real fruit.
