Lexis Brisbane students had an unforgettable experience during the Aussie Food Tasting activity, one of the many enriching events at our English school in Australia. International students sampled iconic Australian treats such as Sausage Rolls, Lamingtons, Caramello Koala, Shapes biscuits, Cherry Ripe, and Solo Lemon Soft Drink.
Each student received a card to judge each flavor, making it a fun and interactive way to practice new English vocabulary related to food descriptions.
Our students love this kind of activity, since it allows them to fully immerse themselves in Australian culture. Tasting traditional foods isn’t just about enjoying delicious treats; it’s an invaluable opportunity to learn about Australia’s culinary heritage and history.
