In recent years, friendship bracelets have evolved into a popular craft among students and young adults. They’ve become a symbol of solidarity, a way for friends to express affection and appreciation for one another. At Lexis Manly we love to encourage creativity and to cultivate an appreciation for the arts among our students. As our students gathered for the activity, surrounded by spools of vibrant thread and an array of beads and charms, creativity takes center stage. Each student brings their unique vision to life, selecting colours, patterns, and designs that speak to their individuality while celebrating the friendships they hold dear.

Art has a remarkable ability to bring people together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community among our students. Under the guidance of our teacher Delphine, our students dived into the world of friendship bracelet making, learning basic knots and techniques to bring their designs to fruition. Alongside this hands-on learning experience, our students shared stories, laughter, and moments of camaraderie, strengthening the bonds that unite them.
