Celebrating Milestones: A Tribute to Lexis Noosa Graduates
Today, we gathered to celebrate the graduation of four wonderful Lexis Noosa students:
- Julia from Switzerland
- Dilek from Turkey
- Maria from Mexico
- Keiko from Japan
Reflecting on their time at Lexis Noosa, it’s evident that these graduates have traversed a path paved with dedication, perseverance, and growth. From the first day they set foot on campus to this milestone event, they have embraced the challenges of language acquisition, navigated cultural nuances, and formed connections that transcend borders.
The journey of language learning extends far beyond the confines of a classroom. It’s a journey of self-discovery, cultural immersion, and personal transformation. Through their commitment to learning, these graduates have not only acquired language proficiency but also cultivated invaluable skills such as resilience, adaptability, and empathy – qualities that will serve them well in their future endeavours.
Julia will be doing some travelling around Australia before returning back home to Switzerland in July. She will be missed for her beautiful smile, strong speaking skills and always putting in 100% effort.
Dilek and Maria both started in Elementary and have now graduated from Upper Intermediate. Dilek will be starting her studies at the Beauty House Academy and Maria is still deciding between the Culinary Academy and the Beauty House Academy.
Keiko left her family, including grandchildren, at home in Japan to improve her English to be able to speak to tourists in Kyoto. She was often the fastest in many games in her class, faster than many 20-year-olds. She will be dearly missed.
As they prepare to embark on the next phase of their lives, let us acknowledge the significance of this moment. It’s a time to celebrate not only their academic achievements but also the growth, friendships, and memories they have cultivated along the way. Each step of this journey has shaped them into the individuals they are today, poised to make a meaningful impact on the world.
