This week we welcome 6 New Starters to our Byron Bay campus!
Franziska is from Switzerland. She loves to spend time outside and her hobbies are hiking, skiing, biking, and riding a motorbike. It was a dream for Franziska to come to Australia to study English and is hoping to learn as much as she can in the 4 weeks she is here. After her studies she will spend a month in Canada before returning home.
Yuno is from Japan. She loves to play tennis and has been playing for the last 9 years. She is in her second year of university where she is majoring in English literature but is also interested in intercultural communication. This is her first time studying abroad and is hoping to be able to communicate with people from all over the world.
Filippo is from Italy. His interests include Travel, Music, Film, and sport but his passion is soccer. He has worked for the Lamborghini car company but would now like to spend the next few years in Australia. He is studying English here because it’s a wonderful country and English is the most important language.
Sara is from Switzerland. She has played handball since she was 11 years old but also really loves to read books especially thrillers. She works as a nurse in a hospital surgery ward and has previously worked in a elderly care home. She likes the climate in Australia and that there are surf spots everywhere.
Valentine is from France. She lives in Paris and works as a massage therapist and skin care specialist. She is studying in Australia because she wants to better her English which is important for her job and she loves to talk to people. She will spend the next year in Australia where she will look for work and practice her English.
Regina is a returning student to Lexis Byron. She started with us in October 2019, transferred to Sydney and has now returned to our Byron campus. She will be joining Paul’s Intermediate class. Welcome back!
