We said farewell to the smiley and easy-going Gabriel from Adrienne’s Pre-Intermediate class this week. Gabriel was shy and reserved, but warmed up and practiced the Kahoots so he could beat Max (who always wins) – we all have to find our motivation! Gabriel found an inner drive towards the end of his studies here and declared he wanted to go to University in English – what a great goal for a young man living in a new country. Well done on gaining a love for learning – we wish you all the VERY best for what your future holds.
We also said ‘see ya’ to the much loved Xenia who graduated from Josie’s Advanced class. She is such a wonderful student, and person, and has brought so much light and laughter into the classroom and the school in general. She is so keen to learn and improve her language skills and does so with a fantastic sense of humour and energy. Xenia was a Byron Bay Lexis Happy Student back in December last year, so check out Xenia’s Happy Student Blog 💖. She has come such a long way in the 26 weeks she’s spent here, and we wish her all the very best with living in Byron Bay and…coming BACK to do a Vocational Course here at Lexis. Yay!!
