There was a huge turnout of enthusiastic students for our first Coffee Club of the year!
What we do for Coffee Club:
- we put on the kettle and boil water
- choose a flavour of tea or coffee, then make our beverage
- open up a couple Tim Tam packets (and due to the huge turnout on this occasion, we also shared cookies and vanilla wafers)
- then we relax, drink and eat while playing Uno, Jenga and conversing
In a casual, conversational setting it is fascinating what you learn about each other. The differences and similarities in opinions, distinct backgrounds, and ambitions.
It is a super relaxed, fun environment to practice your English skills, meet students from other classes and build friendships.
For many of our new starters this was their first experience trying Tim Tams. The Tim Tams were unanimously loved but for some of the Swiss it wasn’t as good as the chocolate biscuits back home.
There were many interesting conversations, photos, exchanging of numbers and plans made for afterwards to enjoy the beautiful day.
