We are approaching whale season here in Noosa! Between now and the end of the year, almost 9000 Humpback Whales will swim past Noosa twice…once on the way up to the great Barrier Reef, and once on the way back south again.
There are many professional whale watching tour boats that you can join, but often you can spot whales from the National Park cliffs. Another great viewing point is Sunshine Beach, particularly when the whales are heading back home again with their new babies.
Seeing a Humpback Whale breaching is an amazing sight…make sure you take your camera when you head down to the beach!
