Exploring Sydney: Awesome excursions for our students at Lexis Manly!
Welcome to the captivating city of Sydney, where a rich tapestry of culture, breathtaking scenery, and boundless adventures await! This week, our Cambridge and IELTS classes went on a journey to discover various parts of Sydney, including the beautiful Dee Why headlands and the fascinating Australian Museum. Our engaging outings provided students with the chance to explore Sydney more and also was a great opportunity to practice their English conversation and speaking skills.
Guided by our lovely teachers, our students delved into the rich history of these iconic sites, allowing our students to gain a profound and deeper understanding of Sydney. 🌿 Dee Why Headlands with our Cambridge classes:
Our teachers Steve and Nicola explored the beautiful Dee Why Headlands with their Cambridge classes. Together they went on a coastal walk through the headlands where they enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views of the sparkling blue waters below. Our students had a wonderful day filled with discovery, adventure, and breathtaking natural beauty.
🔆 City visit with our IELTS class:
Our teacher Karen with her IELTS class got to explore some iconic places in the city of Sydney! Together they hopped on a ferry from Manly to Circular Quay and enjoyed the scenic views of the Sydney Harbour. After, they explored the fascinating Australian Museum and learnt about Australia’s history. Right next door is where the St Mary’s cathedral is conveniently located, so their class went exploring and discovered the beautiful church stained glass windows within the cathedral. Together they all had an interesting day learning about Australia’s history and culture.
