Jamaica Blue Sunshine Plaza are looking for their next Cafe’ All-Rounder!

Jamaica Blue has been operating successfully in Sunshine Plaza for the last 12 years. With the recent change in ownership, we are looking to expand our team!

A casual position has become available within our business, and we would love to hear from you. Ultimately this position would suit a school leaver or someone looking to fill some hours around university.

We operate 7 days a week; 7.30-5.30 Mon – Sat, 8.30-4.30 Sun, most public holidays and school holidays so availability is necessary. Being able to do closes (finishing no later than 6pm at worst) is a requirement of the job.

The position is for a cafe’ all-rounder with duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Cash handling
  • Customer service
  • Waiting tables
  • Basic cleaning duties

Some knowledge of the industry is beneficial but definitely not crucial to the role. Coffee and kitchen experience is also not needed, however if there is interest in those areas there is potential for future training.

  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with Delivery Contractors and drivers;
  • Respond to urgent matters as required;
  • Maintain a professional & high-quality service-oriented environment at all times.
