- Keep it to no more than two pages.
- Don’t use long sentences, use bullet points.
- Present with competencies, qualifications, training, career history including achievements, volunteering and references available on request.
- Adaptability with change or helping to pivot through Covid.
- If you have gaps in your resume, fill them.
- Remote work skills, mention software like Zoom or FB.
- Check grammar, spelling, formatting, font size and style.

Casual Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher
The Smug Fig cafe is a well respected and successful cafe/restaurant in East Brisbane serving all day breakfast and lunch in a relaxed garden atmosphere. Inside the cottage garden nursery, the Smug Fig is a 80 seat cafe, well known for great service, delicious coffee and quality food.
We are currently looking for a dishwasher/kitchenhand to join our kitchen team immediately. The position is casual, 24hrs-30hrs weekly, no nights. The role includes both weekend days so availability for these is a must. You will be working in a young and enthusiastic team with a passion to provide a great dining experience for all our customers. With a kitchen team of 4 over the weekends, you’ll be predominantly dishwashing, with weekday shifts may be a blend of dishwashing and simple food preparation under the guidance of our chefs.

Casual Room Attendant
Dog Walker/Pet Sitter
Looking for a reliable, kind, enthusiastic, fit person who is willing and able to do 3-6 dog walks per day on (Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays mainly)with great dog handling experience.
Must be over 18yrs of age
Ideally suited for someone in Stafford Heights or in 10km radius
Must love the outdoors and working in all kinds of weather. You will be walking multiple dogs for multiple walks, so you need to be physically strong and able to keep up with the dogs.
There will also be pet sitting available to do at times, so you need to have a love and knowledge of all sorts of animals.
The busiest times of the year are long weekends, school holidays, Easter and Christmas, so you must be available to work those times.
Rates are payed per walk or pet sit and while we have regular clients who we look after, temporary extras may be added to your schedule to accommodate clients needs. Summer temperatures also affect walking hours and may require dogs to be walked early morning and late afternoon. Starting at 7am for morning walks and possibly finishing at 6 for afternoon walks.
