Activities in or around Noosa this December

Let’s take a look at some activities that can be done around the Noosa area this weekend and leading up to Christmas.
Christmas in Eumundi
Christmas and shopping practically go hand-in-hand, and the local markets are among our fave places to score awesome gifts for our family and friends. The twice-weekly Eumundi Markets always have the goods, and they’re taking it up a notch for their annual Christmas In Eumundi twilight market. Munch on tasty international street food, while browsing the stalls, and checking out the entertainment. We’ve also been given the inside scoop that Santa will be arriving on the Eumundi Fire Truck at about 5.30pm, just in time for the Christmas Magic show at 7pm.
When: Friday 6, 13 and 20 December, from 5pm to 9pm
Where: Eumundi Markets, Memorial Drive, Eumundi
Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade
The annual Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade is synonymous with Christmas on the Sunshine Coast, as decorated boats stream down the Mooloolah River and Kawana Waters canal, passing by twinkling houses and crowds of people lining the water’s edge. Because it’s such a popular event, make sure you get in nice and early to get a prime position and don’t forget to bring along your chairs/rug and obligatory snacks, it is Christmas after all.
When: Saturday 14 December, from 7pm
Where: Main vantage points are Charles Clarke Park, The Wharf, and Penny Lane in Mooloolaba and La Balsa Park in Buddina.

Peregian Beach Christmas Carols
Get in the festive spirit the best way we know how—by kicking back and belting out your favourite Christmas carols at the top of your lungs. There are carols by candlelight events held across the region in December, most kicking off with twilight markets and concluding with fireworks, so there will be fun times all ‘round.
