Come Join us as Ocean Street comes ALIVE each month with a fiesta of Culture and Colour, celebrating the unique customs and cuisines from around the globe on the first Friday of every month.
This will Lead up to the cultural event of the year, the spectacular Worlds Festival.
Now, The Iconic NIGHTS on OCEAN is a feast for the senses, a smorgasbord of INTERNATIONAL STREET FOOD VENDORS, handcrafted goods of desire and incredible LIVE MUSIC.

What: Full Moon Dance - Hot Potato Band, Cheap Fakes, Tipsy Scholars

Description: The first Full Moon Dance for 2020 is here with Hot Potato Band headlining a mega night of groovin’ beats, soul-soaked and brass-fuelled pop, funk and rock on February 8! This freakishly talented line-up with Cheap Fakes, The Tipsy Scholars and DJ Stevie G will be sure to welcome the good vibes into your beautiful souls.

What: YOGA SLEEP FOR BUSHFIRE RELIEF

When/Where: Saturday 8 February – From 9am – Sustainability in Style HQ 43C Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore

Description: Kick back, nod off, and repair our native vegetation with your eyes closed.

Yoga Nidra relaxation event where you donate what you can and are rewarded with a 45 min deep relaxation 9-10 am. Book online and bring a cash donation for Greening Australia.

All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Please try to arrive ten minutes before class so you can settle in and enjoy the full hour.

What: Music for Bush-fire Fundraising Day

When/Where: Saturday 8 February – From 11am – Peregian Beach Hotel

DescriptionWe have a mega day of music coming together with a list of fabulous musicians all so generously getting on board to play over the day. We’re keen to show some local love to those that have been on the ground battling bush-fires, helping to rebuild broken communities and rescuing & rehabilitating our precious wildlife.

Add to that some legend beer partners supporting us with karma kegs, awesome local businesses donating prizes for raffles and maybe even a lemonade stand for the kids to contribute!

Musical loveliness will weave throughout the day including brunch, lunch & dinner so you can book a table to catch up with your crew!!

Set to be a really special day bringing live music, cold brews & fine food together…all funds raised will be donated to Queensland Rural Fire Service & The Rescue Collective.

$5 donation on arrival would be appreciated to really kickstart fundraising efforts 😊

What: Clean Up for the Hatchlings

When/Where: Saturday 8 February – From 6am – La Balsa Parl, Point Cartwright

Description: Let’s join together and clean up our beaches to help give our turtle hatchlings a clear run into the ocean!

Our 7th annual Clean Up for the Hatchlings will kick off at 6am at beach clean-up locations across the coast, from Caloundra to Coolum.

We’ll meet back at La Balsa Park in Buddina from 8am to enjoy a FREE BBQ, participate in a prize draw and other fun activities, and most importantly, to weigh and sort the collected debris.

All our collected litter information will go to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative database and will help encourage source reduction discussions.

What: Nutella Festival

When/Where: Saturday 8 February – 11am – 2pm – Kawana Shoppingworld, 119 Point Cartwright Drive, Buddina

Description: What can you expect from such a ridiculously awesome festival? Well, all the outdoor restaurants are getting creative and dishing up a Nutella-focussed plate for your enjoyment. On offer will be Nutella calzones, pizza, thickshakes, ice cream, waffles, and the most intriguing, Nutella wontons.
