The TAP class hosted a fun tea party and invited the pre-intermediate class to spend the afternoon together.
All students take a placement test on their orientation day, depending on their results they get assigned to individual classes. Each students gets a study plan, ranging from beginner all the way to advanced classes, to help them reach their individual English language goals.
The students join the Lexis Manly family to improve their English, but this special time in Australia is also a great opportunity to form friendships, explore different cultures and see the benefit of being able to interact with people from all over the world by improving their English.
While break times, workshops and activities allow the students to get to know people from other classes, most time is spend with the own classmates. Our Junior students took it upon themselves to use their new English skills to get to know other students and practice their speaking by hosting a tea party. They chose to send invitations to our pre-intermediate class and invite them to a fun afternoon on our balcony with ocean views.
We adore the curiosity and braveness of our students and love seeing them exchange – making the most of their time in Manly.
