We are very lucky at our campus to be surrounded by the stunning beaches & nature that offer us a playground of opportunities to stay active and energised. From morning swims in the crystal-clear ocean to afternoon games of beach volleyball, there’s always something to get involved in.

The beaches are perfect for surfing, paddleboarding, and even just a relaxing walk along the sand to refresh your mind after class. For those who enjoy fitness, the coastal tracks and open spaces provide the ideal backdrop for walks, running, yoga, or group workouts with friends. Being so close to the beach means our students can balance study with an active lifestyle, making the most of the the beautiful natural environment that’s right on our doorstep.

Beach Volleyball:

Our biggest and most beautiful sports field is the beach! We hold our Beach Volleyball Games regularly and they are always a popular choice among our students.

Our students are also able to borrow our beach volleyballs at any time after class, if they want to enjoy a casual game with friends, practice their skills, or even start up a friendly competition on the sand. It’s the perfect way to make the most of the beautiful beaches right on our doorstep, stay active, and connect with classmates in a fun and social way. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced player, there’s always an opportunity to join in and have a great time.

Surfing:

Manly Beach is right on our doorstep, making it the perfect place to experience one of Australia’s most iconic activities – surfing! We regularly organise surf lessons with professional instructors who guide students through the basics, from paddling out to catching their very first wave.

Whether you’re a total beginner or already confident in the water, surfing is a great way to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy the ocean. Many students also choose to hire a board after class and keep practicing at their own pace. Surfing at Manly is not just a sport – it’s a chance to soak up the sun, connect with classmates, and embrace the Aussie beach lifestyle.

Tennis:

Just a short 5-minute walk from campus, our tennis courts are a fantastic spot to pick up a racquet and get involved in a fun and energetic game. We regularly hold Tennis Lessons where an instructor helps students learn the basics, improve their technique, and build confidence on the court.

The sessions are always popular and end with some free play time where everyone can practice their new skills or enjoy a casual match with new friends. Tennis is a brilliant way to stay active, meet new people, and add some friendly competition to your week – all while enjoying the beautiful surroundings close to campus.
