Last Friday our students commemorated the strength and resilience of women worldwide. Happy International Women’s Day!
Last Friday at Lexis Sydney – Manly we celebrated International Women’s Day! It was the perfect opportunity to reflect on the remarkable achievements made by women around the world and to acknowledge the vital role they play in shaping our society. At Lexis, we are proud to stand in solidarity with women everywhere and to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our female students, teachers, and staff members.
International Women’s Day is not just a day; it’s a movement, a global call to action for gender equality and to honour all women past and present. It’s a day to recognise the progress that has been made, but also to acknowledge the work that still needs to be done to achieve true gender equality in all aspects of life.
Making Awesome Memories:
Our students all gathered on our student lounge balcony to commemorate the special event. We got to enjoy some amazing grazing platters and iced tea. Events like these are an amazing way for our students to make new friends, and to strengthen bonds of friendship with their classmates. It is also a great opportunity for our students to practice their English speaking skills through having conversations with their peers.
Empowerment Through Education & Inclusivity:
At the heart of our celebration is the recognition of the pivotal role education plays in empowering women. At Lexis, we believe in fostering an environment where every woman is encouraged to dream big and to pursue their passions. As we celebrated International Women’s Day, we also recognise the importance of inclusivity. At Lexis Manly we are committed to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
