Making the Most of a Rainy Day: Balcony Picnic at Lexis Manly!
With the weekend just around the corner, what better way for students to unwind and recharge than with a delightful picnic by the beach? Sydney has been raining all week, but no rain will stop us from having some fun! Due to the weather, we opted to do our picnic on our Student Lounge balcony instead. Everyone had a lovely afternoon getting to know new friends & enjoying each others company.
Our picnic was a massive success with almost 30 students showing up for the fun! We offered some snacks, great vibes and a few games. This activity also offered a dynamic and immersive learning opportunity, encouraging students to engage in conversations in English while enjoying the scenic surroundings. These social activities are a great way for our students to boost their English skills whilst still having a fun and enjoyable experience.
As we reminisce on this wonderful event, our students are left with cherished memories and a renewed sense of connection. It was a day of laughter, delicious food, and the warmth of community, reminding us of the importance of coming together to embrace new experiences together.
