A fun afternoon exploring the beautiful Queenscliff walk for our students at Lexis Manly!

Our awesome students amazed at the natural beauty of Manly!

Exploring, learning and soaking in the beauty of Sydney’s nature. On Thursday afternoon our students discovered the beautiful paradise of Queenscliff, located about 10 minute walk from Lexis Manly. Issi from our Student Services team, led some of our students on this fun, engaging outing, where they got the chance to explore Sydney more.

It was also a great opportunity for our students to practice their English conversation and speaking skills. For students at Lexis Manly seeking a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, a leisurely walk to this secluded paradise offered the perfect opportunity to unwind, connect with nature, and create lasting memories.

Discovering Queenscliff:

Located just a leisurely stroll away from Lexis Manly, these cliffs are located at the end of Manly Beach in the suburb of ‘Queenscliff’ and they are not only some amazing rock formations but they also offer an amazing view of the ocean and the beach below. Together we went on a walk along Manly Beach, and along the cliffside, where our students discovered the famous ‘Manly Wormhole,’ a secret cave carved out of the rocks! Our students loved exploring the cliffs & caves, and we were all mesmerised by the natural beauty.

Practicing English Skills:

At Lexis Manly, we believe in providing our students with not just an education in the classroom but also a hands-on experience that extends beyond the campus. Participating in activities presents an excellent opportunity for our students to hone their English skills in a practical and immersive setting. Engaging in conversations with fellow classmates and staff, enables students to practice speaking and listening comprehension in real-life situations. Describing the sights, sounds, and experiences encountered during their activity today, ultimately helps students expand their vocabulary and enhance their descriptive abilities.

Making Memories:

For our students, embarking on this adventure promises a journey filled with unforgettable moments and cherished memories. As the day unfolded each passing hour brings with it new experiences and opportunities to create lasting memories against the stunning backdrop of Sydney’s natural beauty. For many of our students, this was their first encounter with Australia’s breathtaking coastline, and the experience was nothing short of magical.
