Exploring Sydney: Awesome excursions for our students at Lexis Manly!

Welcome to the captivating city of Sydney, where a rich tapestry of culture, breathtaking scenery, and boundless adventures await! This week, our classes went on a journey to discover various parts of Sydney, including the beautiful Dee Why headlands, the fascinating Sydney Sealife Aquarium, the Art Gallery of NSW and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Our engaging outings provided students with the chance to explore Sydney more and also was a great opportunity to practice their English conversation and speaking skills.

Guided by our lovely teachers, our students delved into the rich history of these iconic sites, allowing our students to gain a profound and deeper understanding of Sydney. At Lexis Manly, we are committed to offering our students an education that transcends traditional boundaries. That’s why, this week, our dedicated teachers orchestrated these captivating expeditions throughout Sydney, enabling our students to immerse themselves fully in the beauty and diversity of this iconic Australian city.

Dee Why Headlands with our Advanced and IELTS classes:

Our teachers Karen and Nat explored the beautiful Dee Why Headlands with their classes today. Together they went on a coastal walk through the headlands where they enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views of the sparkling blue waters below. After their scenic walk, they enjoyed a classic Aussie meat pie to finish off. Our students had a wonderful day filled with discovery, adventure, and breathtaking natural beauty. Sydney Sealife Aquarium with our Upper Intermediate class:

Our teacher Ana with her Upper Intermediate class got to explore the iconic Sydney Sealife Aquarium! This excursion took our students into the heart of Sydney’s vibrant Darling Harbour, where they got the opportunity to explore the wonders of the ocean and it’s incredible animals. As they navigated through the underwater tunnels and interactive displays, our students gained a deeper appreciation for marine life and the importance of protecting our oceans. ️Exploring Museums & Art Galleries with our Pre-Intermediate & Intermediate classes:

Our teachers Nathalia, Geovane and Paul with their classes got to explore the fascinating Art Gallery of NSW. The Art Gallery of NSW is one of Australia’s leading art museums and our students had the opportunity to explore and learn about the fascinating collections which focus on Australian, European and Asian art. Our other Intermediate class with their teacher Valentina also went exploring and got to see the awesome Museum of Contemporary Art located in the Rocks of Sydney. Together they all had an interesting day learning about global history, culture and art.
