Exploring Sydney: Awesome excursions for our students at Lexis Manly!
Welcome to the captivating city of Sydney, where a rich tapestry of culture, breathtaking scenery, and boundless adventures await! This week, our teachers led their classes on a journey to discover various parts of Sydney, including our iconic city landscapes and our amazing landmarks including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Our engaging outings provided students with the chance to explore Sydney more and also was a great opportunity to practice their English conversation and speaking skills.
Guided by our lovely teachers, our students delved into the rich history of these iconic sites, allowing our students to gain a profound and deeper understanding of Sydney. At Lexis Manly, we are committed to offering our students an education that transcends traditional boundaries. That’s why, this week, our dedicated teachers orchestrated these captivating expeditions throughout Sydney, enabling our students to immerse themselves fully in the beauty and diversity of this iconic Australian city.
Sydney Harbour & Botanical Gardens with our Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, & Upper-Intermediate classes:
A group of our teachers, Valentina, Coni, Ana & Carolina, took their classes to the beautiful Sydney Harbour & enjoyed a lovely picnic altogether in the Botanical Gardens. Together they hopped on a ferry from Manly to Circular Quay and enjoyed the scenic views of the Sydney Harbour. After their ferry ride, they got to explore the iconic landmarks that makes our city so special – The Sydney Harbour Bridge & The Sydney Opera House!
As the sun was shining, what better way to finish off the day with a picnic. They joined altogether at the amazing Botanical Gardens to enjoy some snacks, fun activities and great conversation. Our students had a wonderful day filled with discovery, adventure, and breathtaking natural beauty.
Exploring Museums & Art Galleries with our Pre-Intermediate & Advanced classes:
Our teacher Nat with her class got to explore the fascinating Art Gallery of NSW. The Art Gallery of NSW is one of Australia’s leading art museums and our students had the opportunity to explore and learn about the fascinating collections which focus on Australian, European and Asian art.
Our other Pre-Intermediate class with their teacher Agustina also went exploring and got to see the awesome Museum of Contemporary Art located in the Rocks of Sydney. Lastly but certainly not least, our Advanced class with their teacher Cristian, explored the awesome Australian National Museum. Together they all had an interesting day learning about global history, culture and art.
