Exploring Sydney: Awesome excursions for our students at Lexis Sydney – Manly!
Welcome to the captivating city of Sydney, where a rich tapestry of culture, breathtaking scenery, and boundless adventures await! Last week, our teachers led their classes on a journey to discover various parts of Sydney, including our beautiful beaches, national parks & some stunning coastal trails. Our engaging outings provided students with the chance to explore Sydney more and also was a great opportunity to practice their English conversation and speaking skills.
At Lexis Sydney – Manly, we believe in providing an education that goes beyond the classroom. Our passionate teachers organised these exciting excursions across Sydney, giving our students the chance to fully experience the beauty and diversity of this iconic Australian city.
Walk to Middle Head & Balmoral Beach in Mosman with our IELTS Preparation class:
Our IELTS Preparation class enjoyed a scenic walk to Middle Head and Balmoral Beach, soaking in breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour along the way. The hike took the class through lush coastal trails, past historic military sites, and down to the golden sands of Balmoral Beach, where they relaxed, had some lunch and enjoyed the sunshine. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to practice their English in a natural setting while learning about Sydney’s rich history and stunning landscapes. A perfect mix of exercise, conversation, and cultural exploration!
Walk to Collins Beach in Manly with our Advanced class:
Our Advanced class took a lovely walk to Collins Beach in Manly, a hidden gem nestled within Sydney Harbour National Park. Strolling through lush bushland, they enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and stunning coastal views before reaching the secluded beach. Our students had the chance to practice their English in a relaxed, natural setting while soaking up the sun and spotting local wildlife. It was a perfect blend of conversation, exploration, and appreciation of Manly’s breathtaking surroundings!
Walk to Balmoral Beach with our Upper Intermediate class:
Our Upper Intermediate class enjoyed a picturesque walk to Balmoral Beach in Mosman, taking in breathtaking harbour views and lush coastal scenery along the way. The journey offered plenty of opportunities for conversation and language practice. Upon reaching Balmoral, students unwound on the soft sand, admired the crystal clear water, and even grabbed a coffee from a nearby café. It was the perfect mix of learning, exploration, and appreciation of Sydney’s stunning outdoors!
Shelly Beach with our Intermediate, Pre-Intermediate & Elementary classes:
Our Intermediate, Pre-Intermediate, and Elementary classes had a fantastic afternoon out at Shelly Beach, filled with beach games, laughter, and great company. Our students enjoyed friendly games of beach volleyball & soccer, practicing their English through fun group activities, and soaking up the sunshine by the water. After working up an appetite, they shared lunch together, making the most of the beautiful coastal surroundings. It was the perfect combination of relaxation, conversation, and outdoor fun, creating wonderful memories for everyone!
