Today we are celebrating our 14 amazing graduates and course finishers at Lexis Manly.
Today we had to say goodbye to 14 of our lovely students, most of them were with us for over 20 weeks – making it especially hard to see them leave.
All the new friends, class mates and teachers made sure all graduates had a last fun afternoon at Lexis Manly and get to be celebrated for their hard work and incredible progress. All students have settled in so well that we barely remember them not being around.
We got a chance to get to know everyone better at our afternoon activities and excursions and admire their drive to learn a new language, while making the most of their time overseas.
Thank you for being part of the Lexis Manly family, we hope to see you again one day and wish you all the best for your future plans!
Cristina has spread joy at Lexis Manly over the past 6 month. her happy personality and big smile added a lot of value to the classroom and campus. Every week, when new students joined the campus she made sure to make everyone feel welcome and included – no wonder she has made a lot of friends over the past month’s. She will enjoy the Northern Beaches for a few more weeks before heading back to Colombia, we wish you all the best!
Shinnosuke impressed us with his hard work and drive, 4 month ago he started his journey with Lexis in an elementary class. He quickly improved and is graduating from an intermediate class today with incredible new English skills. Not only his classmates, new friends and teachers will miss him, but also his host family who has grown close to this lovely student. All the best for your future plans!
Asahi was a big part of Lexis Manly, she has been studying with us for half year but it feels like she has always been around. Asahi quickly became one of our most popular students and was always surrounded by her many friends. She celebrated every graduation with us and cheered on the graduates – today is her day to be celebrated for her hard work. She surely made the most of her time, joining the Lexis activities, meeting new students every week and exploring the Northern beaches with her friends after class. She jumped on a plane back to Japan shortly after her last day at Lexis, we hope you enjoy the time with your family and tell them all the fun stories from your Sydney adventure!
IELTS teacher Sam described having these girls in class as “simply wonderful”. While Fulya had been with us for for over 6 month, Maike only joined us 4 weeks ago. Wishing them farewell today is sad to many and we are glad to know they made the most of their time here, enjoying the beach, meeting people from all over the world and get creative in our art workshops. Another thing they have in common is their newly discovered love for Australia, they have both decided not to leave just yet. Instead they will take a year to travel and discover new areas of this wonderful country. Enjoy your travels girls!
