Today we are celebrating our 13 amazing graduates and course finishers at Lexis Manly.
Today we celebrated the hard work of our 13 graduates. Everyone gathered on the beach front to wish them farewell and enjoy a last day filled with fun and laughter. Graduations are so special to us, since we don’t only get to celebrate the individual progress but also get to witness the strong friendships that have been formed. Everyone cheers the graduates on and celebrates with them, regardless of who is their classmate or friends. It shows how quickly the Lexis Manly family grows close and how supportive all students are towards each other.
The Lexis English journey looks different for every student, depending on their levels, goals and duration. Let’s have a look at some of the journey’s of this weeks graduates:
Sofia flew out to Sydney from Chile and started off in an elementary class, with her English being low. After only 4 weeks she moved up to a pre-intermediate class and continued her hard work there. For the past month she even studied in an intermediate class which she will graduate from today. What a great progress in only 16 weeks!
Carlos has joined us from Brazil and started his studies with us in March this year. When we first met him, he didn’t speak any English, he was assigned to a beginner class and quickly made progress. He moved up to an elementary class after only 4 weeks and put a lot of effort into improving even more. His hard work paid off and he studied in a pre-intermediate class for the past weeks. Well done!
Miho from Japan studied with us for 12 weeks, her English was already on a high level when she arrived. She started off in an upper-intermediate class and pushed herself to reach even higher goals after the first 8 weeks. She then joined the IELTS class and prepared for the test, aiming for a high score. Proving that there is always new goals to target, regardless of the current level. We are proud of you!
We are proud of everyone’s amazing progress and wish them all the best for their bright futures and upcoming adventures. Thank you for being part of the Lexis Manly family!
