Fun Activities at Lexis Sydney Manly: Yoga Lesson,
Beach Volleyball & BBQ!
At Lexis Sydney Manly, our students enjoy much more than just English classes. Each week is filled with fun, social activities that help students relax, stay active, and connect with classmates from all over the world.
We are incredibly lucky to be located right by the beach, surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery that makes it easy to enjoy an active and balanced lifestyle. This week was a perfect example of that, with a mix of movement, teamwork, and good food to finish things off. From calming Yoga Lessons to energetic games of Beach Volleyball, our students had plenty of opportunities to unwind after class and enjoy everything Manly has to offer.

Yoga Lesson:
We kicked off the week with a relaxing Yoga Lesson, giving students the chance to slow down, stretch, and reset after a busy week of study. Set in a calm space, the session focused on gentle movement, breathing, and mindfulness.
The class was suitable for all levels, whether students were trying yoga for the first time or already had experience. It was a great way to look after both body and mind, reduce stress, and enjoy some peaceful time with classmates in a supportive environment.
Beach Volleyball:
Our biggest and most beautiful sports field is, of course, the beach! This week’s Beach Volleyball session was full of energy, laughter, and friendly competition.
Beach Volleyball is always a favourite among our students, as it’s easy to join in regardless of skill level. Teams were mixed, spirits were high, and it was the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine while staying active. Students are also welcome to borrow volleyballs after class for casual games with friends, making the most of the beach right on our doorstep.
End of Week BBQ:
To wrap up the week, we finished with a classic BBQ – the perfect way to bring everyone together. Students enjoyed good food, relaxed conversations, and plenty of laughs as they socialised outside the classroom.
BBQs are always a highlight at Lexis Sydney Manly, offering a great chance to practice English in a natural setting, meet new people, and celebrate another successful week of study and activities.
