Here’s a list of 5 fun things to do in Sydney this month.
1. AniMate Film Festival: World student films collection
Head to the Dendy in Newtown to see the best of Season 1 films and meet the film makers. There are films from Ukraine, France, Canada, Denmark, Norway, China, Greece, Germany, USA, Israel, United Kingdom, Japan, and Taiwan.

2. Newtown food and street art, small group tour
This tour includes 4 food stops, sampling cuisine from; Egypt, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand, Japan, “Australia” and more. Vegetarians and vegans will be happy too.
You’ll visit a popular local brewery for a shared tasting paddle or a glass of craft beer, hear about Newtown’s history, people and development, and you’ll be taken to see some of Newtown’s best street art – learn about the artists, their styles and their stories. This is a tour even Sydneysiders enjoy.

3. Van Gogh Alive – immersive experience
Be surrounded by colour, light, sound, and fragrance in this multi-sensory international art experience.
The Grand Pavilion is a specially designed and constructed 25,000 square foot gallery at the Entertainment Quarter, Sydney. Van Gogh Alive features the images of Van Gogh from floor to ceiling and wrap around. It’s a fully immersive experience with its very own Van Gogh themed bar. Bring a friend and your cameras!

5. United Cup – International Tennis Tournament
The United Cup is a mixed-gender hard-court tennis tournament featuring teams from 18 countries. The tournament will be played across Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, over 11 days. Cheer your country on (and Australia too!).

About Lexis Sydney on Manly Beach
Lexis Sydney provides quality education experiences in Elementary English, IELTS Preparation, Cambridge FCE and Cambridge CAE.
The college is open 13 hours a day Monday-Friday, with classes in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. The average class size is 12-13 students.
General English courses run year-round. Most students are aged 18 years and over, and at certain times of the year, a Junior program is offered. This is for students aged 12-17 and incorporates lots of fun activities and beach sports.
