Friday afternoon GV Noosa students participated in some Swiss culture!
Over 50 students took part in Friday’s Swiss Wrestling event. The activity was introduced by Fabienne, Stefan and Andy from the Cambridge classes and was very well organised by the Swiss students. The competition proved to be more challenging than first thought as the big guys dropped quickly from technique of others. There was a men’s and women’s competition with Markus Schwarzentrnber taking out the men’s title and Christine Furrer taking the women’s title. This was the first ever Swiss Wrestling event in Noosa and was very popular with all students. Thanks to all who took part!
