Thanks to Garry from Style Surfing for his informative and entertaining seminar on surfing.
Garry from the longest running and most reputable surf school in Byron Bay delivered a really interesting talk to the students today as part of GV Byron Bay’s afternoon activities program. Garry arrived with a number of surfboards and pictures and videos on DVD and covered various topics including how to surf, being aware of surfing conditions, how surfboards are made (the guy on the video who demonstrated how they spray paint the designs on boards was amazing – a true artist) and a lot more including his adventures and travels around the world searching for that perfect wave.
