A Perfect Venue for Fun
Thanks to our wonderful friends at Nomads Youth Resort, we had the privilege of using their volleyball court, transforming a regular Friday into a mini sports festival. The picturesque Noosa weather played its part too, gifting us blue skies and warm sunshine, the ideal backdrop for a thrilling afternoon.
13 Students, Countless Smiles
This week’s event saw a fantastic turnout, with 13 enthusiastic students—most of them hailing from Switzerland—ready to jump, dive, and spike their way to victory. The energy was contagious as we divided into teams of four, ensuring everyone had plenty of chances to shine on the court.
Friendly Competition and Rotating Teams
To keep the games exciting and inclusive, we adopted a winner-rotates system. This setup allowed everyone to enjoy a mix of friendly competition and teamwork. One of our students even volunteered as a referee, adding a touch of professionalism and fairness to the matches. Their commitment ensured everything ran smoothly, and it was a delight to see everyone cheer each other on.
Building Connections Beyond the Classroom
Activities like these are more than just fun; they’re an opportunity for our students to bond outside the classroom.
