For this afternoon’s activity, a bunch of excited students tested their skills in a Lexis Noosa ping-pong tournament!
Our ping-pong table at the Noosa campus has become very popular since its arrival at the start of the year! Our students love to play on their breaks and after school, making it a much-loved activity at our campus. So, we thought that it was only fair to organize a table tennis tournament for the students to put their talents to the test.
We had 16 participants in total and a whole lot of spectators, enjoying the excitement of watching their friends compete. The tournament was a round-robin styled competition, meaning that for each game, the winner would proceed to the next round and the losing student would, unfortunately, be knocked out of the competition.
The matches were intense but fun, with lots of laughter and friendly banter exchanged between players. There were some incredible shots made, and some lucky ones too. Their friends were great spectators that cheered and encouraged each other. This created a fun and exciting atmosphere for our players. Overall, it was a lot of fun for both the players and spectators.
There were some awesome prizes for the finalists. The prizes included Lexis T-Shirts and drink bottles, funny Australian socks, Tim-Tams, a box of Roses and some delicious Australian animal cookies!
In the end, we crowned the winning student to Raphaelle who defeated all the boys and girls! Coming in second place was Yuto and tying third was Mikuri and Lukas.
