Great Noosa Trail Walk

The Great Noosa Trail Walk takes walkers through the Noosa country towns of Cooroy, Kin Kin, Cooran and Pomona.
The 56km walk, over three days, on the Noosa Biosphere Trail, brings together community groups from the local towns to highlight the beautiful landscapes of the Noosa Hinterland Region.
Walkers camp overnight and have their luggage transported each day to the next location so they can enjoy the day’s walk. Spectacular countryside scenes are experienced along with good country hospitality and cheer. The event sells out each year!
Funds raised go back into these communities and also to sponsor Trees for Tourism, bringing shade to the future. The event is owned and run by the Cooroy Future Group Inc.

Noosa Open Studios

Get involved in the Noosa art scene, and visit the private workshops and studios of 100 remarkable local artists during the Noosa Open Studios Art Trail, as Queensland’s largest open studios event invites you to meet the artists behind the art.
Visit painters and potters, ceramicists, sculptors, metalworkers and more on art trails from coast to countryside around the Noosa region.
Take home your favourite pieces and be creatively inspired with art workshops and gallery visits, all within reach of Noosa!

Wild Women Adventure Race

Bike – paddle – run – adventure!
The Wild Women Adventure Race is a triathlon-format event for teams of two, in the Noosa country, designed to encourage women to get into the wild and experience an adventure event. It is the first all-women race of its kind!
Taking in the stunning trails, tracks, mountains and creeks of the hinterland, the event includes around 20-30km of mountain biking, 8-15km of trail running or hiking, 1-3km of kayaking or paddling and requires some basic navigation skills.

Noosa Charity Car Show

The Roadrunner Car Club presents the Noosa Charity Car Show with a range of cars on display, including rare and unique classic cars and motorcycles, on the banks of the Noosa River.
Spectator entry $5, children under 14 free, supporting Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.
It’s going to be a great day with many different cars on display.
Enjoy the atmosphere of this unique Car Show by the Roadrunner Car Club on the banks of the beautiful Noosa River at Noosaville on the OCTOBER LONG WEEKEND.
