An excursion to Dolphin Point

The sun was shining today as our students visited the National Park to walk the trail and surround themselves with nature and see the sights.
To begin the walk, we traversed the boardwalk which takes you away from Main Beach and to the start of the national park trail.
We took a short rest at the first lookout, which is Boiling Pot. Whilst rehydrating, we looked out to sea to take in the stunning views. From here you can look back towards Noosa and see the beach bursting with life during the holiday season.

We pressed on deeper into the national park hoping to catch a glimpse of more wildlife and immerse ourselves in nature. In the national park you can see a whole host of Australia’s most iconic animals and critters. If you’re lucky enough, you can see snakes and spiders, kookaburras and bush turkeys and even koalas. If you look out to sea, you might find turtles, dolphins and even whales during migration season.
When we reached Dolphin Point, we were fortunate enough to spot a turtle popping up to catch some air. The sea was crystal clear and an idyllic shade of blue, perfect for seeing any sealife on display.
It’s always great to head out to the national park to realign with nature during a week of English lessons in the classroom.
