Our IELTS class have been up to some exciting adventures lately, including climbing Mount Tinbeerwah and visiting the Butter Factory.
Mount Tinbeerwah offers panoramic views of the beautiful Noosa Hinterland and its surrounding area. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers west of Noosa Heads and the mountain stands at an elevation of around 265 meters. It’s a relatively easy and short walk, which takes about 15 minutes to get to the viewing platform at the summit. Once at the top of the rocky mountain, you’re rewarded with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful beach stretches, Noosa’s rivers and lakes, as well as our farmlands and surrounding mountains.
The Butter Factory in Cooroy, is a historic building that has been repurposed as a community arts and cultural center. The building, originally constructed in 1930, served as a dairy factory and butter production facility. Today, it houses various creative and artistic enterprises.
The Butter Factory Arts Centre is a vibrant hub for artists, artisans, and the local community. It hosts exhibitions, workshops, performances, and events related to visual arts, pottery, sculpture, textiles, and more. The center provides a space for artists to showcase their work, collaborate, and engage with the community.
Our IELTS students loved their adventure day with their teacher Anjali and couldn’t believe how much Noosa and its surrounds has to offer!
