A Sweet and Hoppy Adventure: Visiting a Local Chocolate Factory and Craft Brewery
If you’re looking for a perfect mix of indulgence and refreshment, an afternoon spent visiting Noosa Chocolate Factory and Land and Sea Brewery is the ultimate experience. Yesterday we embarked on this delicious adventure, satisfying our sweet tooth before quenching our thirst with some expertly brewed craft beer.
A Chocolate Lover’s Dream
Our first stop was a charming local chocolate factory, where the air was thick with the rich aroma of cocoa. We explored the range of chocolate on offer and spent some time looking through to the factory itself, where you can see master chocolatiers perfecting their craft.
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, the shelves were stacked with heart-shaped chocolates, perfect to gift your loved ones. They also serve speciality coffee and the aroma wafting through the shop tingled the senses. A highlight was watching skilled chocolatiers at work, delicately tempering chocolate and moulding beautiful creations. It was an absolute delight for the senses, and we left with our hands full of delicious treats to take home.
A Craft Beer Experience to Remember
Next, we crossed the road to visit one of Noosa’s best craft breweries, known for its unique and locally inspired brews. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with the scent of hops and malt filling the air. We took in the ambience and surroundings and had a look at the merchandise on offer too.
Then came the much-anticipated tasting session! We sipped on a variety of beers, from crisp lagers to bold IPAs and their delicious ginger beer. Each had its own distinct character, with flavours ranging from tropical and citrusy to deep, roasted caramel. The friendly staff guided us through the tasting, helping us identify different notes and suggesting perfect food pairings.
On Wednesday’s Land and Sea serves delicious pulled pork, chicken, fish and vegan tacos and we enjoyed the kick of the spicy tacos contrasting the refreshing flavours of each beer.

Visiting a local chocolate factory and craft brewery in one day was a fantastic way to appreciate the artistry behind two of life’s greatest pleasures.
