Noosa – Creative Coffee Cups – 14th May

Creative brewing got artsy as students participated in a coffee mug decorating activity!

Provided with plain white mugs, sharpies and paints, students unleashed their creativity, turning ordinary white mugs into unique works of art. Some opted for vibrant colors and abstract designs, while others filled their mugs with intricate illustrations and heartfelt messages, reflecting the rich tapestry of cultural expression within the Lexis community.

The result? A captivating array of one-of-a-kind coffee mugs, each narrating its own story.

This activity wasn’t just about making art though; it was also about sharing ideas and making new friends. After decorating their mugs, students were told to follow the below steps to make sure their designs stayed on:

  1. Place the coffee mug inside a cold oven.
  2. Turn oven on to 150 degrees and leave mug in there for approximately 2 hours.
  3. Turn the oven off but leave the coffee mug inside until completely cool.
  4. Remove the mug and enjoy a hot tea/coffee!

These special mugs now hold memories of the creative event at Lexis Noosa. Whether students use them for coffee, tea, or as decorations, they remind everyone of the friendships made and the joy of being creative together.

The coffee mug decorating event wasn’t just about art; it showed how everyone’s different and how much fun it is to work together. As these personalized mugs become part of everyday life, they’ll always bring back memories of creativity and friendship at Lexis English. Cheers to more moments of making art, working together, and enjoying a nice cup of coffee!
