Farewell, Friends: Celebrating Those Who Graduated This Month at Lexis Noosa
At Lexis English Noosa, we celebrate the achievements and journeys of our students each week as they graduate and move on to exciting new adventures. This month, we bid a heartfelt farewell to a group of exceptional individuals whose stories of hard work, growth, and future aspirations inspire us all. Let’s take a closer look at their incredible journeys.
4th July
Nubia, Yewon & Isabela
Nubia studied with us here in Noosa for 18 months and rose through the levels throughout her enrolment. Her confidence with using English has come on leaps and bounds and it has been great to see her grow as a student. She works in IT management and will take her new English skills forward with her in her career.
Yewon graduates from our IELTS class having started in our General English course. She is a very determined and hard working student and her effort has paid off. She will begin our Barista course after graduating before travelling around Australia.
Isabela is a baker by trade and graduates from our IELTS class, having spent 4 weeks studying here in Noosa. She has shown great improvement in a short period and has succeeded in what she hoped to achieve. Already a Noosa local, she will continue to live and work in the area as well as looking to study more English in the future.
Suzuno & Winni
Suzuno studied with us for 3 months in total and has shown a great attitude towards her studies. She attended many activities too and really made the most of her time at Lexis. She plans to move either to Melbourne or Sydney to find work after graduatio.
Winni has been in Noosa for 8 weeks and graduates from our Intermediate class. She will continue to live in Noosa and will find work in the local area.
Asumi & Jeff
Both Asumi & Jeff bring their big smiles to school every day and are very popular in class.
Jeff has spent 8 weeks studying with us and he is a talented chef, so he will begin working in the local restaurants.
Asumi will spend a few weeks living and working in Noosa but would like to travel to the outback to explore more of Australia.
11th July
Nick, Louis & Norah
Nick is from Germany and spent 1 week in our Advanced class and managed to improve his English in a short period of time. He will travel with his family for a while before returning to school in Germany.
Louis studied with us for 8 weeks and made the jump up from Upper Intermediate to our Advanced class. His family is in Australia too and they will enjoy the sunshine coast before returning to Switzerland.
Norah, also from Switzerland, spent 8 weeks studying with us and has had a lot of fun here in Noosa. She will enrol on our Barista course for the next two weeks after graduating.
Yota
Yota is a big character in our Intermediate class and is a professional at making everyone smile and laugh. He spent 12 weeks studying here in Noosa and he also completed our Bar & Cocktail course. He will stay in Noosa and work in local bars and restaurants, where he will save up some money to spend on the trip of a lifetime as he plans to travel around Australia and New Zealand.
18th July
Giulia, Annica, Teja & Iza
Giulia and Annica are friends from Switzerland and have come to study as part of a school programme. They spent 5 weeks here in Noosa enjoying life on the Sunshine Coast and have been excellent students. They have grown in confidence in their time here and after graduating, they will return to Switzerland.
Teja & Iza are also friends, coming from Slovenia. They joined our Teenage Activity Programme and have had a great time studying English and enjoying all that Noosa can offer. They will return home to enjoy their summer holidays before going back to school.
Yukino
Yukino studied here at Lexis for 16 weeks and has made many friends along the way. Upon arriving, she was very quiet but her confidence with her speaking has grown massively over the past few months. She will be missed by everyone in the Upper Intermediate class and by the school as a whole. She works in the area and so will continue to live and work here in Noosa before enrolling in The Culinary Academy in September.
Mayumi, Anson & Olivia
Mayumi came to Noosa to study for 1 week and has improved her speaking and grammar in her time here. She is returning to Japan to go back to work.
Anson & Olivia are brother and sister from Taiwan. They have had such a great time in Noosa that they don’t want to go home! Olivia has decided that when she’s a bit older, she wants to come back to Lexis with a view to studying at University in Australia.
Yume, Mio & Manaka
Yume, Mio & Manaka spent 1 week here as part of our Teenage Activity Programme and graduate from our Elementary class. They will all return to Japan this weekend to head back to school.
Miria
Miria came to Noosa for 3 weeks for our TAP Surfing programme. She graduates from our Elementary class, where she has made many friends in her time here. She will return to Japan to continue working and studying, but she plans to study English in Canada in the future.
25th July
Norton & Rina
Norton spent 1 month here in Noosa and is a very confident speaker. He has a great work ethic and made the most of his time on the Sunshine Coast. He will join a tour of Fraser Island before heading back to Switzerland.
Rina is from Japan and studied here for 4 months and has been building her confidence with her English over this time. Her writing is at a very high level and she has made great progress. She will be moving to England and studying at a school in Somerset.
Taichi
Taichi studied with us here in Noosa back in March and returned to rejoin our Teenage Activity Programme. He has spent the past 4 weeks studying English and enjoying Noosa’s surf. He graduates from our Elementary class and he will return to school in Japan.
Mari
Mari is Rina’s younger sister, and after hearing how much of a great time Rina was having, she came to Noosa to study too! She graduates from our Teenage Activity Programme and our Pre-Intermediate class having spent the past 2 weeks studying with us. Mari and Rina’s family are in Noosa too and they will enjoy a few days here before they move to England.
Pauline, Jules & Kanta
Pauline and Jules are from France and joined our TAP Surfing programme. They have spent the past 3 weeks improving their English and catching some waves.
Kanta, from Japan, spent 1 month studying here in Noosa. He will continue to live and work in the local area after graduating.
Chloe
Chloe graduates from our IELTS class. She is from Taiwan and came to Noosa to study for 5 weeks. She has done a great job at improving her confidence with English and she plans to head back to Taiwan before travelling to Korea.
Eva & Johanna
Eva & Johanna are friends from Germany and joined our TAP Surfing programme for two weeks. They graduate from our Advanced class having injected a lot of fun and laughter into the class. They head back to Germany to go back to school.
