This Week’s Activities at Lexis Noosa
At Lexis Noosa, our students enjoy more than just English classes. This week, we welcomed a wildlife show at the school, along with some casual painting time and a friendly football match. These activities give students the chance to try something new, be creative, and spend time together outside the classroom.
With opportunities to get involved both on and off campus, students can enjoy a good balance of fun, creativity, and social connection while making the most of their time in Noosa.
Wildlife Show!
This week, we welcomed Ben from D’Aguilar Wildlife back to Lexis Noosa, transforming our classroom into a real Aussie wildlife experience.
Ben brought along a range of native Australian animals for students to see up close, learn about, and even interact with. His passion and knowledge made the session engaging and fun, giving everyone a chance to experience some of Australia’s unique wildlife in a safe and memorable way.
This is always a popular activity, and it’s easy to see why. Students had the chance to get close to the animals, take photos, and enjoy a hands-on experience they’ll be talking about long after they leave Noosa. It’s a great way to connect with Australian culture and make the most of their time here.
Canvas Painting & Movie Afternoon!
Students enjoyed a creative and relaxing afternoon painting on canvas while watching Mamma Mia!, a great pick by the group. As a musical, it filled the room with familiar songs, so there was plenty of singing along while everyone worked on their masterpieces.
The vibe was super relaxed, with lots of laughs and creativity flowing. Everyone painted something different in their own style and they all did so well. It was great to see such a mix of ideas come to life.
Football!
Students also got together for a friendly football match, giving everyone a chance to get active and have some fun. It was a relaxed game with lots of energy, teamwork, and a few laughs along the way, bringing students together outside the classroom.
