Last week was an Action Packed Week of Fun Activities at Lexis Noosa!
For our students, it’s important to unwind during a week of English learning and our activity programme is the best way to do so. Every week, we do activities together on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to showcase the best of what life in Noosa is like. Our activities range from arts and crafts to watersports and from karaoke to yoga, with a whole load of Aussie culture thrown in there too. Here’s a glimpse of what activities we got up to last week:
Wednesday’s Activity – Volleyball!
Our students brought their trademark energy to KB’s Noosa, filling the sandy court with laughter, friendly rivalry, and plenty of team spirit. As the sun dipped over the palm trees, they rallied, spiked, and dove for the ball, turning a casual game of volleyball into a lively celebration of teamwork and international friendship. Between matches, we rehydrated with some soft drinks and soaking up the relaxed Noosa vibe—another perfect afternoon of study-life balance in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal spots.
Thursday’s Activity – Christmas Card Making!
On Thursday, we gathered in the classroom to create Christmas cards, filling the space with colour, creativity, and festive cheer. With music playing softly in the background, they cut, glued, sketched, and decorated, sharing ideas and helping one another bring their designs to life. Laughter mixed with the rustle of paper as each student added their own personal touch—messages for friends, family, and homestay hosts. It was a warm, relaxed afternoon that sparked both creativity and connection, capturing the spirit of the season perfectly.
Friday’s Activity – Surf lesson!
After class on Friday, we hit up Noosa’s Main Beach for an unforgettable surf lesson, diving straight into the perfect mix of sunshine, saltwater, and excitement. With boards tucked under their arms and instructors guiding them through the basics, they practiced paddling, popping up, and riding the gentle waves rolling into the bay. Cheers and laughter echoed across the beach each time someone caught their first wave—or wiped out spectacularly. Between sets, students soaked up the stunning views and supportive vibe, turning a fun challenge into a memorable afternoon on one of Australia’s most iconic beaches.
